Sony dazzled CEDIA Expo attendees at its booth with demonstrations of its recently announced Master 4K TVs, a new series of projectors, and its Crystal LED commercial display.

The Sony Master series of 4K HDR TVs, available in 75- and 85-inch sizes, feature the company’s X1 processing technology and a Netflix Calibrated Mode developed as part of an exclusive partnership with the streaming-video company. Pricing ranges from $3,499 to $5,999.

Sony’s trio of new projectors, meanwhile, include the VPL-VW995ES for displays 220 inches and larger—with a laser source providing 2,200 lumens and the company’s All Range Crisp Focus (ARC-F) 18-piece, all-glass lens. Sony called it one of its most power home theater projectors to date; it’s priced at $34,999.

The mid-tier VPL-VW695ES model has 4K Motionflow for natural motion and comes in a compact size with a wide lens shift intended for easy installment, while the entry-level VPL-VW295ES projector builds in native 4K SXRD, 4K Motionflow, and HDR capability. The VPL-VW29ES also has a new Input Lag Reduction mode for gamers. These models are priced at $9,999 and $4,999, respectively.

All three projectors and the Master series TVs are certified for use with IMAX Enhanced content, a new licensing and certification program requiring manufacturers to meet performance criteria set by IMAX, DTS, and leading Hollywood colorists.

“Sony continues to make innovation and consumer choice a top priority for those seeking the very best viewing experience,” said Mike Fasulo, Sony Electronics president and chief operating officer. “We are proud to join other global consumer electronics and entertainment leaders as a launch partner for the IMAX Enhanced program and to be able to provide a wide variety of televisions and projectors designed to deliver the filmmaker’s intent.”
