Scosche Revved Up For SEMA 2018

Displaying devices in 24 show vehicles

Scosche is showing off its newest vehicle and mobile solutions at SEMA this week, utilizing two dozen vehicles during the Las Vegas show.

Located at booth 11717 in the Las Vegas Convention Center’s North Hall, Scosche’s headline vehicle this year is a 2018 Jeep JL Rubicon, custom-built by California-based Rockstar Garage. In addition to a variety of aftermarket performance enhancements, the Jeep features Scosche’s MagicMount Pro window/dash device mounts, Revolt Dual Charger and EFX installation wiring.

Booth 90060 in the South Hall features the RSG build of Scosche’s 2018 CanAm X3 rs Turbo R, spotlighting the company’s devices for the powersports market. Meanwhile, returning to SEMA are the company’s two headline vehicles: The updated 2017 Camburg Racing-built Scosche Toyota Tacoma TRD is on display at the DECKED exhibit, in booth 61022 in the Silver Lot, and the 2015 GMC Sierra 2500HD Denali — rebuilt into an Overland vehicle — is on display at the Titan Fuel Tanks exhibit in booth 62002, also in the Silver Lot.

As for products, Scosche is debuting new devices and showcasing existing items throughout 20 industry partners. Brand-new products include the MagicMount Charge Direct Fit Qi-Wireless Charging Solutions, which join the company’s line of Direct Fit vehicle make- and model-specific options, and a Universal version.

The MagicMount Charge Direct Fit provides up to 10 watts of charging power, supports Apple and Samsung Fast Charge, supports foreign-object detection, and secures a mobile device with powerful, device-safe Neodymium magnets.

Geared toward the powersports market and designed to “securely mount everything from a phone to a fire extinguisher,” the company’s new Terra2Clamps are constructed from heavy-duty resin and rust-free stainless-steel hardware. They come in two sizes that can accommodate diameters from 1 to 3.5 inches.

Scosche is also updating its line of Integrated TouchScreen Control installation kits with a dual, full-color touchscreen system to control the vehicle’s HVAC, as well as other vehicle technology systems and convenience features. The kit requires no complex programming or cutting of any of the OEM wiring in the vehicle during installation, said the company.
