Bond’s Breeze Pro outdoor weather sensor is also now available from StruXure. Cresskill, NJ – January 22, 2026 – Leading Smart control brand Bond today announced that luxury pergola and cabana brand StruXure is now selling a suite of solutions powered by Bond. This consists of four products: StruXure-branded device hub (bridge), on-wall keypad and outdoor universal smart remote control and Bond-branded outdoor wind/rain/sunlight sensor. All are compatible with StruXure’s flagship Pergola X and Evolve series motorized pergolas.
The result of a collaborative effort between the two companies, the new StruXure RF-to-WiFi Bridge (adapted from the award-winning Bond Bridge Pro) brings fingertip and voice-activated control to the pergola’s motorized louvers right from the Bond Home Smartphone App. The App is compatible with virtual assistance platforms like Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, and the Bridge easily integrates with leading automation platforms Control4, Crestron, josh.ai, and others. One Bridge can control fifty devices; for larger installations multiple Bridges can be used.
The new StruXure Sidekick 5-channel on-wall wireless keypad (built upon Bond’s Sidekick for Shades Gen3 keypad) can be programmed for individual or batch control of the StruXure motorized louvers. The keypad is extremely easy to install and operate. Battery-powered and communicating via radio frequency (RF) to the louvers, the keypad mounts flush to the wall or electrical control box without requiring any wiring.
Also available from StruXure is the Bond Mate Pro universal, wet-resistant, outdoor remote control. New from Bond – and a 2025 CEDIA Best New Hardware Award Finalist – this 15-channel hand-held RF remote brings smart, individual, multi-group, and scheduled control to the louvers. Set quick-action triggers, schedules, favorite positions, customize channel names, and more. The remote has an impressive transmission range of 200-feet (contingent on the property), and with its durable IP-65 wet-rated body, can be left outdoors without worry.
When the Sidekick or Mate Pro are used with the Bridge, users can enjoy additional customization and features. For example, the remotes can communicate state feedback (for example status of louver’s opening and closing positions) to the App and also make possible scene triggering. Scenes allow for control of different devices at once – for example by mood, by time of day or night, events, etc.
StruXure is bundling the Bridge, keypad, and outdoor remote with each of its Pergola X and Evolve series models. Each of the models in these two series offers a unique design that brings its own flair of functionality and beauty to the outdoor setting.
StruXure dealers can also now purchase the Bond Breeze Pro directly from StruXure. This is an ultrasonic wind/rain/sunlight smart sensor that can be programmed to trigger multiple louvers based on user-defined thresholds. Used in conjunction with the Bridge, the sensor gets mounted vertically atop a pole outdoors, ideally placed thirteen feet off the ground. Installation is wire-free.
Bond worked closely with StruXure to bring native integration of its smart devices to the louvers.
