Nanoleaf has unveiled its latest Matter compatible products- the Essentials Matter GU10, the Essentials Matter Recessed Downlight and the Umbra Cono Portable Lamp, aimed to elevate home lighting with essential features and an elegant design.
A Growing Essentials Matter Product Family
With the new Nanoleaf Essentials Matter GU10 and Recessed Downlight, users can enjoy functional bright whites and vibrant splashes of color throughout their home using Matter technology. Working with Matter over Thread, the smart color changing LED Light Bulbs are simple to set up, and easy to control. The new Bulbs continue to expand Nanoleaf’s suite of Matter-enabled lighting (which currently includes an A19 and Lightstrip), to help you outfit your entire home with dynamic smart lighting experiences.
The Essentials Matter GU10 and Recessed Downlight allow users to easily adjust brightness, set Schedules, and play unique lighting Scenes. All Nanoleaf Essentials Matter lighting products can be grouped in the Nanoleaf App or with your preferred smart home ecosystem.

Nanoleaf collaborates with global design brand Umbra to create the Smart Lamp Collection, featuring the Cono Portable Lamp and Cup Lamp, a unique fusion of technology and thoughtful design. The Smart Lamp Collection introduces the first ever table lamps with Matter compatibility, playing a pivotal role in diversifying the Matter-ready offerings available today for a more connected smart home future.
With full-spectrum RGBW lighting options (16M+ colors and tunable whites), smart customizable settings and dynamic lighting Scenes, the new Cono Portable Lamp is the ideal tech meets design lighting product for small spaces. The Cono Portable Lamp is a portable lighting solution with a five-hour battery life that can power a perfect ambiance wherever you take it. Its playful design allows you to direct light where you need it by positioning it upright, on its side, or even upside down – for just a hint of illumination. Cono is constructed with a metal body on a stand molded from a durable recycled plastic mixed with wood fiber composite, giving it an organic appearance. Cono is available in Grey and Sierra.
The Cup Lamp is a beautifully crafted lamp that adds a touch of elegance to any workspace or study area. Incorporating a USB charging port and unique cup base makes it a perfect fit for limited desk space, providing both functional lighting and organizational appeal.
Both products works with Matter over Thread, allowing users to control the lighting through Nanoleaf’s mobile app or through their chosen smart home app (Apple, Google, Amazon or SmartThings). Turn on and off, control brightness, set Schedules, group lights by home and by room, create or download Scenes, or control all of the lights in a room together. The lamps also have on/off switches for easy manual controls when you prefer to not use your device.

The Nanoleaf x Umbra Cono Portable Lamp is available now for pre-order at shop.nanoleaf.me and retails for $95 US/CAD. Orders will ship by early November. Cup Lamp is coming early 2024.
