PowerVision’s PowerEgg, the first consumer drone developed by the company, boasts what is billed as the world’s first gesture-based one-handed drone controller, the PowerEgg Maestro. It delivers long-distance real-time video transmission (up to 3.1 miles) and is equipped with HD video transmission and a maximum flight time of approximately 23 minutes. PowerEgg’s integrated 4K UHD camera can produce professional-grade photographs and videos with panoramic 360 degree views on a three-axis gimbal, delivering stabilized aerial views with an immersive “spherical” experience.
Nortek’s GoControl smart doorbell camera is equipped with a 720p HD camera and 180-degree wide-angle lens. The GoControl captures video even when mounted to the side and is said to provide a superior audio experience by decoupling the audio/video information and using low latency SIP technology for near real-time two-way audio.
The Petcube Play is the next generation of the company’s original pet camera. The wide-angled camera includes 1080p HD video, 24/7 video recording, digital zoom, two-way audio, sound and motion alerts, and night vision. The camera is remotely controlled via the Petcube app, compatible with iPhone and Android. The app has social features — users can share to their favorite social networks, and connect with a global community of pet lovers and their pets real-time.
