Onkyo has announced a new addition to its Icon Series of audio solutions, the C-30 High-Performance CD Player. Designed for music lovers who desire a premium playback solution for their CD collections, the C-30 Hi-Fi Grade CD Player features Onkyo’s VLSC (Vector Linear Shaping Circuit), which the company says removes pulse noise from the signal path using advanced algorithms, resulting in a distortion-free analog output from its 24-bit/192kHz DAC.
The C-30 features a vibration-resistant, blast-finished aluminum front panel designed to reduce resonance and deliver cleaner playback. The rear panel features Hi-Fi-grade RCA, optical, and digital coaxial outputs for integration with a variety of audio systems. Compatible with standard CDs, CD-Rs, and CD-RWs, the C-30 also supports MP3 and WMA file playback.The C-30 H-Fi Grade CD Player will launch at a retail price of $349.
