Swedish digital audio pioneer Dirac today announced an expansion of its collaboration with global home audio brands Marantz and Denon to deliver Dirac Live to more listeners. The Marantz MODEL M1 and Denon Home Amp have received a software update enabling support for both the Limited and Full versions of Dirac Live Room Correction, making them the first streaming amps from those brands to feature Dirac’s room correction solution.
“With this expanded collaboration with Marantz and Denon, Dirac is advancing its mission to bring audiophile-grade performance from the few to the many,” said Fredric Tapper, Dirac’s Vice President and Head of Business Development. “Dirac Live has long been trusted by audiophiles and integrators, and now we’re making that same premium smart acoustics solution available to more listeners worldwide through the popular Marantz and Denon streaming amps.”
Dirac Live Room Correction addresses acoustic challenges that traditional hardware cannot resolve without significant time, expertise, or cost. Uniquely correcting both magnitude and phase responses, Dirac Live optimizes the entire audio system – including the room itself – for more transparent sound, tighter bass, improved staging, and enhanced clarity.
