SMEG USA has expanded its kitchen appliance portfolio with the launch of its redesigned 2025 dishwasher line. The new line is made up of seven models, two of which are ADA-compliant. These new models are designed for flush installation, and come available in stainless steel, matte black, and matte white, as well as custom panel options.
Features of the new 2025 SMEG dishwasher line include:
- MultiLoad: Offers improved flexibility for more efficient loading capabilities to accommodate all dishware and serving ware. MultiLoad includes multiple unique supports within the baskets making room to fit pots and pans, oversized bottles, and oven trays, as well as an added support rack for smaller items. Available in the DW8220, DW8620 and DW8630 models.
- WinePro: WinePro is an included accessory available in the DW8630 model that offers loading options for wine glassware with flexible tines to secure stemware securely, even on the bottom rack when using the delicate cycle. Additionally, there is a dedicated wine decanter and bottle support.
- Wash Systems: SMEG offers two wash systems in the 2025 dishwasher lineup. The Orbital Wash System, available in the DW8210X, DW8220, DW8610, and DW8620 models, provides cleaning via a double spray arm with contra-action rotation that distributes water evenly throughout the cavity, providing excellent wash quality and a greatly-reduced noise level. The Patented Planetarium Wash System, available in the DW8630, offers the highest level of cleaning power with a double motion spray arm and spiralizing directional wash that sprays water evenly in a 360° sweep. This system provides the best wash results at a virtually silent noise level for reliably clean dishes every time.
- DryAssist+: The DryAssist+ system, available in the DW8210X, DW8220, DW8610, DW8620 and DW8630 models, enhances drying performance by automatically opening the dishwasher door at the end of the cycle, allowing fresh air to circulate for perfectly dry dishes. This energy-efficient feature reduces the need for additional heat, helping conserve power while ensuring spotless results.
- Increased Capacity: Select models accommodate up to 16 place settings and include a built-in third rack for more loading capabilities. The Flexi rack, available in the DW8210X, DW8220 and DW8610, is a single third rack dedicated to cutlery, and the Flexi Duo, available in the DW8620 and DW8630, offers even more loading options with two small adjustable racks that can fit smaller items, saving room for bigger items down below.
- Total Aquastop: Available in the DW8630, Total Aquastop is a built-in flood-protection system that instantly detects leaks, whether in the dishwasher tub or the water inlet hose, and automatically shuts off the water supply at the source.
