With the introduction of a 750MHz processor this week, AMD can again say it has the fastest chip on the market.
The new AMD Athlon processor just edges out Intel’s 733MHz processor that was introduced in October, but the chip giant is expected to introduce higher speed chips in the next few months. AMD is also looking to boost the Athlon line past 1 gigahertz in the near future.
