Amazon’s Fire HD 10 tablet is getting a little shinier and a little heftier.
The 10.1-inch tablet, which first launched in September, is now available with an all-metal aluminum enclosure for the same price as the standard black option. It’s also offered in a 64GB storage capacity for $289, joining the 16GB ($229) and 32GB ($259) models.
Features of the Fire HD 10 include a quad-core 1.5GHz processor, MicroSD slot for expanding storage up to 128GB, Dolby Atmos speakers, 720p front-facing and 5-megapixel rear-facing cameras, and a battery life of up to eight hours. It also, of course, comes with the e-tailer’s characteristic unlimited Cloud storage for all Amazon content.
Amazon recently took top billing in the Temkins Group ranking of the best customer experience among tablet and computer makers in the U.S.
