Xmi Expands Capsule Speaker Line

LAS VEGAS  – Xmi Pte will exhibit the newest evolution
of its Capsule Speaker series at booth 6722 in the North Hall at International CES
this week.

The X-mini Happy is part of the company’s X-mini portable music
player line, and its latest edition has two new features: an MP3 player and a
built-in SD/SDHC card slot.

The Happy stands 2.3 inches tall and is just less than 2 inches
wide, weighing in at less than 3 ounces. It is equipped with a 1.5-inch, 2.5-watt
speaker, and its internal rechargeable battery allows eight hours of play on a
single charge.

The Happy supports SD cards up to 8GB capacity and can play back
the MP3 and WMA music formats. It connects to a PC via USB
cable and is compatible with the Windows and Macintosh operating systems.

The player features the company’s Bass Expansion System to extend
and amplify the device’s dynamic audio range, the company said.

All of the Happy’s functions are controlled through a single
button, and the device has an output jack so it can connect to the company’s
X-mini II Capsule Speakers.

The company has also pledged to donate 10 percent of its profits
from the Happy to the company’s adopted charity, Children International.

Pricing and shipping information will be available at the show.
