Hatfield, Pa. – Specialty A/V chain World Wide Stereo has
launched its first mobile website.
Customers can now search,
browse and buy the Philadelphia-area dealer’s A/V, accessories, furniture and
home-automation options from manufacturers including Klipsch, Monster, Samsung
and Sonos via mobile devices at

“With an increasing percentage of our online traffic coming from
mobile devices, developing a mobile website was a strategic next step for us,”
said president and founder Bob Cole. He said the new site will complement the
company’s e-commerce site and two brick-and-mortar showrooms.
Added e-commerce director Bill Hettinger: “Our mobile site
creates a huge opportunity for us to engage with our valuable customers on a
deeper, more personal level.”
The company said the site
is accessible through Apple, Android and BlackBerry devices, and features
large, rich product images with additional views; detailed product
descriptions; a homepage banner; shop by category; store locator; ratings and
reviews; and social integration.
