Fort Worth, Texas – Looking to lower the price for phones in the 5.8GHz frequency, Uniden announced the addition of an analog series to its line of 5.8GHz cordless phones.
The analog models will command lower price points than their digital compatriots, which are currently retailing over the $150 mark.
This new 5.8GHz analog line consists of the EXI5160 for a suggested retail price of $79 and the EXAI5180 for a suggested retail price of $99. The EXI5160 ships this month and features an extended range, caller ID/call waiting, 30-caller ID memory, 10 memory dial locations and a voice mail waiting indicator.
The EXAI5180 adds a digital answering system and new message waiting indicator. Both models are headset compatible and are desk or wall mountable. It will ship in December.
