Steve Jobs Resigns As CEO

Cupertino, Calif.
– Steve Jobs has resigned as CEO from Apple.

Apple’s board of
directors announced his resignation and said that Tim Cook, previously COO,
would replace him. Jobs becomes chairman of the board, and Cook will join the
board, according to a statement on Apple’s website.
