Hagan Kappler, Daisy’s co-founder and CEO, has been recognized by Goldman Sachs as one of the Most Exceptional Entrepreneurs of 2025 at its Builders and Innovators Summit in Healdsburg, California. Goldman Sachs selected Daisy from multiple industries to be honored at the two-day event.

“We are pleased to recognize Hagan as one of the most exceptional entrepreneurs of 2025,” said David Solomon, chairman and CEO of Goldman Sachs. “The Daisy team has not only built a successful enterprise, but they are redefining industry paradigms. This year’s Summit has brought together many of the best business minds to talk about harnessing the full potential of AI and building the next generation of businesses.”

Kappler co-founded Daisy with Dion Persson in 2024 to improve customers’ experiences with home technology by creating a comprehensive service-focused business model that delivers the same level of customer care and ongoing support offered by other national home service brands.

Since its launch, Daisy has acquired 17 companies and signed 20 franchise agreements, both converting existing custom integration businesses and establishing new branches across the country. This rapid expansion has positioned Daisy as the nation’s leading and fastest-growing provider of home and small business technology installation and support services.

Kappler began her career at Goldman Sachs before joining McKinsey and Company, a global leader in management consulting. She went on to launch Blonde Roast for Starbucks before heading to Ingersoll Rand, where she led mergers and acquisitions. Over the past seven years, she has cultivated deep expertise in the home services sector, serving as the leader of Merry Maids and ServiceMaster Clean, and most recently heading Threshold Brands, a private equity-backed franchise home services roll-up.

“Having started my career at Goldman, this is a very special honor for me personally,” Kappler says. “I am thrilled on behalf of our entire team for our hard work over the past two years to build this beloved, national brand and be recognized among other top start-up companies.”

In its 14th year, Goldman’s Builders and Innovators Summit is a gathering for founders and CEOs of hypergrowth companies. Previous honorees have gone on to lead multi-billion-dollar companies, both in the private and public markets. In addition to honoring the most exceptional entrepreneurs each year, the Summit consists of general sessions and clinics led by seasoned entrepreneurs, academics and business leaders, as well as resident scholars.
