Lake Mary, Fla. -

Soul Electronics

has named industry veteran Warren Mann as sales director.

Mann will focus primarily on establishing and maintaining relationships with the company's independent dealers, according to a company statement.

Mann has more than 20 years experience, which includes roles as executive director at MARTA and group director at NATM Buying Corporation.

Prior to these positions, he spent 12 years at Sansui Electronics, serving as sales and marketing senior VP.  Most recently Mann served as senior VP for buying groups and select independents at Haier America.

"It's refreshing to return to profitability in the audio industry and great sound, especially with the excitement surrounding the Soul product launch," Mann noted.  "It's not only the prestigious Ludacris name, or the quality -- fit, finish and function -- but the overwhelming response from the media and consumer interest.  I'm seeing three or four new websites lauding these headphones every day."

The new role also re-unites Mann with Soul Electronics founder Bob Bonefant and chief financial officer Mike London.

In a statement, Bonefant said, "We're thrilled to welcome Warren to the Sourl Electronics team and know his years of expertise in the specialty retail environment are just what we need to carry on the success of our launch. Our continued support for our Soul retail partners is something we don't take lightly, and we are confident Warren is the right person for the job."

Soul Electronics
