Chester Springs, Pa. — Control and automation supplier Savant Systems has joined Azione Unlimited as the education/buying group’s 34th vendor member.
Savant joins a vendor member roster that includes Digital Projection, Integra, Leon, Liberty AV, Middle Atlantic, Samsung and Sonance.
“Everyone at Savant Systems is excited that our brand will be the control platform of choice for Azione members,” said J.C. Murphy, the company’s global sales executive VP. “Entering a group like Azione simply makes sense for our organization because a number of the member-integrators are already our customers and we look forward to adding the rest of this select group to the team.”
Added Richard Glikes, president of the integrator/custom retailer organization: “We are thrilled, effusive and charmed to partner with Savant. The programming ease, their innovation and the breadth of products make Savant an integrator’s dream.”
Glikes noted that Azione is looking for one additional electronics vendor to complete its vendor mix. “We believe that slicing the pie more ways diminishes the value of a group,” he noted. “Focus is the answer for dealers and for groups and a top priority for Azione.”
The group will convene next week in New Orleans (Sept. 10-12) for its Fall Fete conference.
