McIntosh Reorganizes Sales Team

Binghampton, N.Y. –

McIntosh Laboratory

reorganized its
sales team.

With the changes, McIntosh hired
Chris Smith, formerly B&W Group USA regional sales manager, as East Coast
sales director. Former McIntosh East Coast regional sales manager Marc Lamb was
promoted to the position of West Coast sales director. McIntosh’s Steve Mulnick
was appointed to the new title of of sales planning director.

The company continues to sell through
reps.

The sales team reports to Linda
Passaro, global VP of sales and marketing, who was hired in mid-2010 to

expand
McIntosh’s customer base

beyond audiophiles to include affluent consumers who
are “serious about music.” She is also developing a program to build dedicated
McIntosh areas within select retailers’ stores.

“McIntosh is in the midst of a
major new marketing and sales initiative, one that will help us reach new
customers,” Passaro said. “McIntosh is all about connecting people in a more
powerful and emotional way with their music, and with our new sales structure,
we will be able to partner even more closely with our retailer base to ensure
more people will value the McIntosh experience.”

At B&W, Smith was most
recently regional sales manager responsible for account management of more than
50 accounts and for business development and sales training. At B&W, he oversaw
implementation of an advanced CRM tool, Salesforce.com, for his sales team.
