Philadelphia – Veteran appliance distributor Larry Feldman died suddenly on Sunday.
Feldman’s family founded Empire State Distributing, a regional CE and majap wholesaler. He joined Almo nearly 20 years ago following the sale of the business to the national distributor.
At Almo, he served as senior merchandising VP for the company’s specialty appliance division. In a statement Almo said he built the division into a national distributor of luxury majap brands including Asko, Capital, Faber and Liebherr “through his tireless work and dedication.”
“Larry will be greatly missed, not only as a person but as one of the most enthusiastic, hard-working executives at Almo,” said company chairman/CEO Gene Chaiken. “He was highly dedicated and loved his job. This has left a big hole in the Almo family.”
Services will be held Wed., Nov. 6 at Congregation Gates of Heaven in Schenectady , N.Y.
