Washington - hhgregg will continue its Mid-Atlantic rollout this week with the opening of 10 stores in and around the nation's capital.
The new stores bring hhgregg's Washington store count to 12, and raise its total store count to 168.
"Expanding into the Washington D.C. market has been an important landmark of our company's growth," said marketing VP Jeff Pearson. "We look forward to providing residents with the widest selection of appliances and electronics along with the friendly and professional customer-service experience that set us apart from the competition."
Ribbon-cutting ceremonies will take place at each new location at 2:45 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 16, followed by the launch of grand-opening sales events at 3:00 p.m., including Magellan GPS and Frigidaire stainless-steel majap giveaways.
The Indianapolis-based appliance and CE chain now operates in 15 states, including Alabama, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Mississippi, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.
