CEDIA Expo Going To Three Exhibit Days

Indianapolis – The CEDIA Expo
trade show will reduce the number of exhibit days to three from four in 2011 by
eliminating Sunday from the schedule, CEDIA said in citing exhibitor feedback.

The exhibit floor will be open
from Thursday, Sept. 8, through Saturday, Sept. 10, although education programs
will still begin on Wednesday, Sept. 7. The association hasn’t yet decided the
number of days over which it will offer education sessions, a spokeswoman said.
During the 2010 show, four days of education were offered from Wednesday
through Saturday.

“After considering exhibitor
feedback and analyzing show floor traffic patterns, CEDIA leadership decided to
make the move to a three-day show by eliminating Sunday trade show activities,”
CEDIA trade show manager Jennifer Roth said in a cover letter email in the Expo
2011 vendor packet. “The condensed show format will be more efficient and will
allow both exhibitors and attendees to maximize their time at CEDIA EXPO.”

In 2006, CEDIA expanded the number of
show-floor days to four by adding Thursday to the previous show-floor days of
Friday through Sunday, the spokeswoman said.

In 2011, the show returns to
Indianapolis for two years in the renovated and expanded Indiana Convention
Center in Indianapolis.
