Bytech is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year and is marking the milestone with a brand-new high-profile partnership with fashion designer Isaac Mizrahi.
The CE accessories manufacturer — founded by Victor, Eli, Soli and Danny Mizrahi — also includes the Case Logic, Minions, Pink Chandelier, Bonnie Marcus, Miztech, Vesca Wireless and Biconic brands under its umbrella. As it enters 2017, Bytech will not only emphasize its new fashion partnership but will also drive a big push behind its new Apollo bag — an innovative backpack that can double as a portable-device charger.
The bag features a charging pocket on the strap that’s meant to house a smartphone, and it includes a UB port on the strap buckle. Consumers can add their own rechargeable battery packs and attach them to the bag’s built-in USB charging cable. The Apollo can also be used to house laptops measuring up to 15.6 inches, and it comes with two water-bottle pockets. The bag is offered in black and has a $49.99 suggested retail.
Bytech attributed its success over the last two decades to what it called its “business ecosystem,” a process that begins in the design room and pays careful attention to both the product and its packaging.
