Scottsdale, Ariz. . – Ingram Micro’s
consumer electronics
division (IMCE)
has hired Chris Balentine as the new vendor business manager to the IMCE
purchasing department.
He will be specifically responsible for managing the
12-volt, home automation, furniture/mounts and Cable Zone electronics
categories.
Chris comes to IMCE with more than 15 years of experience
within the CE industry. More than eight
years of his background includes being a buying for Fry’s Electronics 12-volt
electronics business.
Tim Coakley, merchandising and vendor management VP for
IMCE, stated, “Chris comes with a wealth of experience within the 12-volt industry
which has made him a key addition to the Ingram Micro’s consumer electronics
division. We view his
appointment as a sign of our commitment to being the leader in consumer
electronics and technology distribution.”
