Philadelphia — Almo, the electronics/appliance distributor, has promoted three managers to VPs.
Mike Shive, current corporate operations manager, has been promoted to corporate operations VP. Shive has been with Almo for more than eight years where he led the logistical expansion that encompassed the entire United States, the company said.
Lenny Paul, current Eastern division manager, has been promoted to Eastern division VP. Before joining Almo he managed the Polaroid and Sunbeam brands for Petters Consumer Brands and held positions with Haier America and Electrolux.
Joel Biterman, current West-Central division manager, has been promoted to West-Central division VP. Biterman joined Almo five years ago and was promoted to division manager in 2005. During this time he is said to have substantially expanded Almo’s CE and appliance sales and retail dealer organization.
