Acoustic Design Systems (ADS), Las Vegas’ industry leader in commercial and residential home automation and security solutions, has announced the promotion of Amanda Crigar to vice president. In her new role, Crigar spearheads the development of new efficiencies, procedures, and training programs while overseeing day-to-day operations by leading the company’s sales, marketing, finance, accounting, human resources, and administrative departments.

Bringing over two decades of industry expertise, Crigar became an integral part of ADS in 2019, assuming the role of director of marketing & business development. Prior to her official appointment, she served as a consultant to the company for a decade, offering invaluable insights on business development, strategic planning, and marketing initiatives. In this capacity, she effectively managed all marketing initiatives, supervised sales operations, and cultivated new strategic partnerships.

In 2021, Crigar was elevated to the position of vice president of sales & marketing, assuming responsibility for steering the sales team and fostering organizational growth. During her tenure, ADS has experienced remarkable success, with annual sales soaring by nearly 40 percent to surpass $10M in 2023, a testament to not only the ADS team but also Crigar’s dedication and strategic acumen.

“Under Amanda’s leadership, we have witnessed an extraordinary evolution over the past five years,” says Chris Sterle, founder and CEO of Acoustic Design Systems. “From her initial consulting role in sales, marketing, and advertising, she has embraced additional responsibilities, showcasing ambition, a results-driven mindset, and exceptional problem-solving skills. We wouldn’t be where we are today without her invaluable contributions, determination, and unwavering commitment to excellence.”

Esteemed as a thought leader and subject matter expert in home and commercial integration, Crigar has been invited to speak on numerous industry panels for key trade organizations including the National Association of Home Builders of the United States (NAHB), Home Technology Association (HTA), and Home Technology Specialists of America (HTSA).

Recognized by Commercial Integrator’s “Top 40 Professionals Under 40” in 2021, Crigar has been a Community Association Institute (CAI) Nevada Educated Business Partner, and a certified continuing education instructor for the CEDIA, American Institute of Architects (AIA), American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), and Interior Design Continuing Education Council (IDCEC).
