Almo Expo Draws Record Turnout

Dallas — Almo, the national majap and CE distributor, enjoyed record attendance at its first flagship product Expo to be held outside the Northeast.

The new Southwest venue, together with the inclusion of the company’s CE, majap, e-commerce and premium/fulfillment businesses, made this the most comprehensive and robust Expo to date, Almo said.

The annual product showcase was held May 22-23 in Texas at the Hyatt Regency Dallas.

The distributor attributed the record crowds to its “ongoing mission to continually refine and better its dealer trainings,” as well as a new two-day Expo format that proved more convenient and efficient, Almo said.

“We are thrilled that the Dallas Expo was so well received,” noted Jack Halperin, Almo’s dealer channel sales senior VP. “We are very proud of our team for putting on such a successful show, but most of all, we want to thank our manufacturing partners who made this Expo a memorable one.”

Highlights included the annual customer-appreciation dinner, held this year at historic Union Station, and an Expo cowboy theme that included a skeet shooting competition, cowgirl palm reader, live country music and games of Texas Hold’em.

Upcoming regional Expos will be held in July and August in St. Louis, Milwaukee, Minneapolis and Toledo, Ohio. For more information, visit Almo.com/Expo.
