Apple is loading the new affordable iPad, which runs on the same chipset as the iPhone 7, with software designed to make the device more useful in the classroom, including a new app called Schoolwork, which mirrors the way some schools use Google Docs for teachers’ assignments and tracking students’ progress.
“Apple will sell the new iPad for $329 at retail, but schools will be able to purchase it at a lower price of $299. It’s available to preorder immediately and will arrive in stores later this week.”
