Savant, a manufacturer of smart-home tech, announced founder Robert Madonna will assume the role of CEO.
William Lynch, who has been the CEO for the past two years, is staying on as an advisor during the transition.
“Everyone at Savant would like to thank William for his vision, achievements and leadership while at Savant,” said Madonna in a statement. “Under his management, we created strong consumer product offerings as well as key relationships to establish a presence for the Savant brand at retail that will serve us well into the future.”
Said Lynch: “I have appreciated the opportunity to serve as CEO over the last 2.5 years at Savant. The company has developed exciting new products and channels for consumers and I’m confident Bob and the team are going to continue to have success growing the Savant brand.”
Savant manufactures home-control systems for custom integrators. It entered the retail market last year.
