Registration is now open for CTIA Super Mobility 2016, to be held Sept. 7-9 at the Sands Expo in Las Vegas.
This year’s show will “transform into a smart city,” CTIA conventions AVP Heather Lee Landers said. “Since wireless changes everything, the show floor will transform into a smart city, complete with all the vertical markets of the connected life — AR/VR, connected car, drones, home, media, networks and retail.”
The show floor will be organized into five zones, each featuring product demos and educational sessions: Retail, Innovation, Connected Life and Technology, Enterprise and Industrial IoT, and Tower and Small Cell Summit.
Scheduled keynote speakers include Glenn Lurie, president/CEO of AT&T mobility and consumer operations; Tom Wheeler, Federal Communications Commission chairman; Peter Chernin, CEO of the Chernin Group; Rajeev Suri, president/CEO of Nokia; and John Stratton, executive VP and operations president of Verizon.
An estimated 1,000 companies will exhibit at this year’s show, and 30,000 professionals are expected to attend.
