
NFM (Nebraska Furniture Mart) recently announced the appointment of Amy Starr Myers as Chief Merchandising Officer. In her new role, Myers will lead NFM’s merchandising strategy, overseeing product selection, pricing, and presentation across its expansive portfolio of furniture, appliances, electronics, and flooring.

Myers is a nationally recognized executive whose career spans more than two decades of transformative leadership in retail, merchandising, and brand strategy, and transitions into this expanded role following her impactful tenure as Chief Marketing Officer since April 2019, and will continue to guide NFM’s marketing initiatives, including the highly anticipated opening of its newest store in Cedar Park, Texas (Austin).
In her tenure at NFM, Myers has been the driving force behind transforming NFM’s marketing and ecommerce organization into a modern, digitally empowered engine of customer engagement. Under her leadership, NFM has embraced cutting-edge technologies, data-driven strategies, and immersive brand experiences that unify in-store and digital touchpoints, creating a truly omnichannel customer journey. She led the integration of real-time customer feedback and advanced analytics, ensuring that every marketing decision is grounded in meaningful insights and aligned with evolving customer needs—leading to the doubling of ecommerce sales.
Prior to joining NFM, Myers was Chief Marketing Officer at Gabriella White, a home furnishings manufacturer and retailer. Myers led product design, merchandising, marketing, ecommerce, and creative services for the indoor and outdoor furniture company. Her extensive marketing and ecommerce experience includes senior leadership roles at Gordmans, Things Remembered, Scripps Media, Kraft Foods, and Spiegel, Inc.
