Sears, Kmart Offer
Disaster Discounts
HOFFMAN ESTATES, ILL. – Sears Holdings is offering
10 percent discounts on select hardlines, including
consumer electronics and major appliances, within states
impacted by Hurricane Irene. The discounts are valid at
select Sears and Kmart stores in Connecticut, Delaware,
Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New
Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Vermont
through Sept. 30. FEMA acknowledgement or Red
Cross documentation is required.

Earth, Wind & Fire Concert
NEW YORK – J&R Music and Computer World,
along with Monster, Intel and Sony Music, cosponsored
a free concert by Earth, Wind & Fire this
month at Manhattan’s South Street Seaport.
The concert celebrated the 40th anniversaries of both the New York A/V specialty retailer and the
Grammy Award-winning R&B band, J&R said. Monster
also used the occasion to officially launch its
Earth, Wind & Fire-inspired Gratitude headphones.
