Boston — Toshiba America and GetConnected have struck a deal that will place the latter company’s broadband service software on all Satellite, Tecra and Protégé notebooks.

GetConnected currently supplies its service through retail kiosks, but this new partnership lets consumers make their choice from their home or office, the company said.
