DVDO To Show Edge Green, iScan Duo Processors

Indianapolis – SimplayLabs’

DVDO

will travel to CEDIA Expo (booth 531) here Sept. 8-10, to present its 2011
product line, including the DVDO Edge Green high-definition video processor and
connectivity hub and an iScan Duo video processor.

 The Edge Green, which will
replace DVDO’s Edge, is billed as a lower power, more cost-effective video
processor enabling plug-and-play management of legacy audio/video devices while
delivering sharp, clear images.

It is said to simplify installations, requiring only a single
cable from the hub to the display.  It
includes: five HDMI A/V inputs, four analog video inputs, five separate audio
inputs, and two HDMI outputs.

The EDGE Green can also reduce latency to less than a single
frame using its “Game Mode,” making it an ideal solution for the gamer
community.

The iScan Duo is said to be the first HD video processor with
dual HDMI video output capability enabling a direct connection to two separate
HD displays.

The iScan Duo unit also offers professional quality calibration
for each content source.

The iScan Duo is a fully featured external video processor for
the custom install market that delivers a powerful mix of image processing and
calibration controls. With its Color Management System (CMS), installers can
obtain the most accurate image possible for any mix of sources and displays.

It includes two independent HDMI video outputs, a dedicated HDMI
audio output, and eight HDMI inputs enabling the conversion of
standard-definition, HD and PC signals from a DVD player/recorder, Blu-ray Disc
player, DVR, game console, or home theater PC (HTPC) to any output resolution
up to 1080p.

DVDO
said the solution serves as a complete A/V hub, providing A/V switching that
automatically syncs between audio and video signals and enables direct
connections to a DTV, projector and A/V receiver.
