San Francisco, Calif. – Digital photo editing and photo repair service provider DigitalCustom announced yesterday that it has begun shipping a prepaid photo restoration and repair mailer to U.S. photo retailers.
The DigitalCustom mailer allows retailers to offer custom digital photo editing by selling the prepaid mailers off-the-shelf or offering the service in-store by using the mailers to transport images to DigitalCustom.
For a suggested retail price of $75, customers receive pre-paid Federal Express transport of their photo print or digital media to and from DigitalCustom, photo restoration or repair of one image, optional hand-coloring at no additional cost, a restored print up to 8 by 10 inches, and a CD of the restored file.
Concurrent with the shipment of the mailer to dealers, DigitalCustom launched a national advertising and promotional campaign, which will target consumers involved in photo crafts. Special pricing will be in effect through April 15, 2003 and is available to photo retailers who mention the offer.
