Mahwah, N.J. – Rick Calacci, Sharp Electronics Consumer Electronics Group senior VP and general manager, resigned ‘to base his work closer to his family in the Midwest,’ the company said. A replacement has not yet been named.
For the past two years, Calacci had been based at SEC headquarters in northern New Jersey. Calacci ‘will assist in the orderly transition of his responsibilities,’ the company said.
Noboru Fujimoto, President of Sharp Electronics Marketing Corporation of America (SEMCA), will serve as Acting General Manager of CEG until a successor is named.
