JVC has signed a two-year contract with Warrantech Consumer Product Services to provide extended-service coverage for the company's consumer products over the JVC Web site.

The agreement covers all of the manufacturer's high-definition displays and home theater projectors, digital video camcorders, home theater systems, audio components and systems, portable audio products, DVD players and recorders, digital storage devices, A/V accessories, car A/V products and recording media.

The deal follows a similar agreement reached less than six months ago covering JVC's professional product lines.
