Bradley Out As HP PC Leader

Palo Alto, Calif. — Hewlett-Packard’s PC and printing head Todd Bradley was reassigned to the newly created position of executive VP, strategic growth initiatives.

Bradley had held his former position, printer and PC head, since 2005. During his tenure, HP’s worldwide leadership position in the PC category has eroded and the company is now in an almost dead heat with Lenovo for the top spot.

Dion Weisler will take over Bradley’s former position. Weisler came to HP from Lenovo, and he is currently HP’s senior VP of printing and personal systems in Asia Pacific and Japan. Weisler will report directly to HP CEO Meg Whitman and will join the company’s executive council.

Bradley’s new duties will focus on developing HP’s business in China and extending the company’s channel partner relationships around the world.
