Research in Motion (RIM) is demonstrating its new BlackBerry Curve smartphone, which it describes as the smallest and lightest full QWERTY BlackBerry smartphone. The handset features a large display, easy-to-use keyboard and trackball navigation system.
The BlackBerry Curve measures 4.2 inches by 2.4 inches by 0.6 inches and weighs approximately 3.9 ounces. The ultra-bright 320 by 240 display includes RIM’s light-sensing technology that automatically adjusts back-lighting levels for indoor, outdoor and dark environments. The smartphone comes with a 2-megapixel camera with 5x digital zoom, built-in flash, self-portrait mirror and full-screen viewfinder. The audio system plays music and videos through the handset’s integrated speaker or through the 3.5 mm stereo jack.
