Blue Microphones Intros Web Cam

Blue Microphones introduced a Web cam with a built-in microphone.

The Eyeball 2.0 features a 2-megapixel camera and what the company described as a “higher-quality” lens and “premium” optical sensor.

The Web cam has driverless installation and can be used with both Macs and PCs. According to the company, the camera's off/ privacy position allows the HD lens to retract into the high-fidelity microphone unit.

It's currently available for a $79.99 suggested retail.

Blue Microphones also said it had updated its Snowball wired condenser microphone. It is now available in brushed-aluminum and gloss-black designs. Suggested retail is $99.99.
