Simply Reliable Unveils Simplified Inventory Management with simplyreliable|OS A Highly Advanced Inventory System

Simply Reliable, the leader in cloud-based business management solutions, announces the release of its advanced Simplified Inventory Management System within its new simplyreliable|OS Operating Systems, a complete end-to-end business operating system that will be introduced at the CEDIA Expo 2023 in exhibit #3631.

The new inventory management system allows tracking by UPC code, serial number, Mac address, and the new SRi QR Code. The entire process marries cloud and mobile functions.

Tom Coffin, CEO, and co-founder of Simply Reliable, says: “Keeping track of inventory has always been associated with large companies, but that’s like saying that keeping track of how much money you have in your bank account is only important to millionaires. It’s simply not true. Inventory is an asset, and it’s important that management understand its value, where it is and who moved it last.”

Typically, products are requested by sales or project managers and ordered via a purchase order. With an iOS or Android app, the warehouse employee can scan the item into stock when received, add its serial number and mac address. When the item is ready for delivery, the installation team can scan the items movement to their van or directly to the customer, completing the inventory movement cycle. Now, all staff actively record the inventory items movement to completion. And there is virtually no setup required.

QuickBooks and other accounting systems move inventory based on the creation of an invoice. In systems integration and contracting companies, that is not when the sale is made. simplyreliable|OS records all asset changes when the item exchanges ownership, i.e., when it is physically transferred from the company to the customer.

Through the upcoming truWIP™ process in simplyreliable|OS,  the Company’s asset account is reduced, and the Client’s sales account is increased automatically. QuickBooks accounts are updated based upon the true nature of the system integrator’s business model versus tying the asset value change based upon retail business models.
