Legrand’s Technology Evangelist Joe Cornwall to Teach Virtual AVIXA Masterclass on AV Signal Distribution

Three-Day Program Will Provide Experienced Industry Professionals With Deep
Insight Into Streaming, HDBaseT, HDMI 2.1, USB-C, and More

DAYTON, Ohio — June 14, 2022 — Legrand’s Joe Cornwall will co-lead the “AV Transport and Signal Distribution Masterclass,” presented by AVIXA in association with Legrand AV and Freman Solutions, June 21-23. Created with highly experienced AV professionals in mind, the three-day program will cover 12 hours of content spanning OTA and OTT delivery systems, AV payload, IoT, AVoIP codecs, AV structured wiring and local connectivity, HDCP, and color spaces with the opportunity for integrators to earn 12 RUs.

“From an in-depth exploration of streaming codecs and HDBaseT to a deep dive into HDMI 2.1 and the overachieving USB Type-C connector, we’re going to look at emerging AV technologies and the challenges they present to AV system designers, integrators, and users,” said Cornwall, CTS-D, CTS-I, ISF-C, and FOI, Technology Evangelist for Legrand AV. “It’s an ambitious goal, but the feedback from previous sessions I’ve taught tells me we’re on the right track. Every class has been bigger than the one before, and we’re going to keep our foot on the accelerator.”

Cornwall will teach the masterclass alongside Freman Solutions CEO Jose Mozota, Ph.D., and CTS-I. The two developed the masterclass content to provide experts in the field with in-depth knowledge of digital AV signal transport methods that can help them make better decisions for their AV projects. They will explore an evolving ecosystem, its strengths, weaknesses, and sometimes absurd complexities in a conversational and interactive format.

About C2G
When you need reliable connections, be sure to turn to C2G and our high-performance cabling and connectivity solutions. We’ve grown into respectable players in the IT and AV industries, though we still retain our scrappy vibe from the early days. And we’re not above having the occasional mascot. (We miss you, Cable Guy and Captain Connector!)

That’s what you get with C2G – an incredible focus on delivering unique, value-added solutions along with a singular commitment to creating lasting, dependable partnerships. It’s not unheard of for executives to be seen repackaging products in shipping or for a sales rep to hand-deliver a rush order when unusual circumstances arise. We’ve been that way since our founders ditched their 1984 Salem Mall PC resell store in Ohio to focus on expanding the custom cables they made in the back that were selling like hotcakes.

We use premium components and the latest technologies to keep pace with the fast-moving changes in AV technology. Quality is so important to us; we have our own manufacturing plant to ensure our products meet our demanding expectations. We put our cable performance second to none and make sure we comply with industry specifications across RoHS, R.E.A.C.H., and WEEE. Check out our 7,000+ stocked solutions or ask about custom kits. Seriously, let’s get connected.
