National CE and gaming distributor New Age Electronics has expanded its drone offerings through a new agreement with DJI, a leader in civilian drones and aerial imaging.
Under the pact, New Age will distribute DJI’s product line to the U.S. retail and commercial channels, presenting consumer opportunities in education, recreation, photography, filmmaking, and commercial uses in construction, agriculture, conservation, search-and-rescue, and energy infrastructure.
“We are pleased to expand our drone offerings through the addition of DJI, one of the industry’s pioneers in drone technology,” said New Age president Fred Towns. “DJI delivers an exciting new assortment of drones to our customers that meet a range of end-user needs, from consumers using drone technology for entertainment to businesses seeking more advanced drone options to help take their work to the next level.”
Daniel Campo, U.S. market sales director at DJI, cited New Age’s “strong track record of bringing emerging product categories to market through its extensive retail and commercial channels.”
“We are pleased to work with their team to expand the DJI footprint and look forward to seeing even more success in the U.S. market as a result of the new agreement,” he said.
