Catalyst AV, the 13-member distributor consortium, reported a 15 percent gain in group revenue for the trailing 12 months.
The increases, which spanned all product categories and channels, were announced at last month’s mid-year meeting, held at the headquarters of Catalyst member CustomPlus in Auburn, Wash.
“We have experienced exceptional growth over the last 12 months in every category” spanning the commercial, residential and professional channels, said executive director Helge Fisher.
Fischer said he expects the trend to continue as Catalyst AV places even greater emphasis on networked solutions in the fourth quarter and calendar 2019.
The semi-annual meeting featured guest speakers and presenters from vendor partners Wavenet, Eero, Sound United, Rapid Video Mount and AVPro Edge, and marked the debut of new members Mid-State Distribution, AM Distributors, Just in Time Distribution and Dorrance Supply Co.
Catalyst itself is a six-year-old distributor network serving some 17,000 residential and pro A/V integrators via 27 U.S. warehouses and a weekly series of webinars and regional trainings.
