ProSource, the largest audio, video, and integration buying group in the United States, celebrated the success of its ProSource Annual “Own It” Themed Summit 2022, held at the brand-new Caesars Forum Convention Center in Las Vegas, March 6-9. The four-day event hosted members and vendors co-located with the BrandSource Summit.

The ProSource Summit celebrated a return to the annual face-to-face networking event focused on the buying group’s achievements in 2021 and a look toward 2022 in the State of the Business address presented by the ProSource leadership team. Following the detailed update on the many member services, including proprietary education initiatives, the audience gave a warm welcome to the five regional Members of the Year honorees:

  • Northeast: Total Home Technologies – Keith Harrison, CEO
  • North Central: Technology Interiors – Rick Goren, President
  • Southeast: SoundVision – Mark DiPietro, Managing Partner
  • South Central: Elite Automation & Technology – Justin Carter and Jessica Carter, Owners
  • West: Pacific Audio & Communications – Phil Mulligan and Pat Mulligan, Owners
Attendees of a session at the “Own It” Themed Summit 2022, held at the brand-new Caesars Forum Convention Center in Las Vegas, March 6-9.

The education agenda included four targeted tracks that attracted great attendance and garnered high marks for each session:

Leaders as Role Models – Stepping Beyond the Limitations of Management: How to Win the Hearts and Minds of Staff and Customers, Presented by Paul Krismer
“It was a joy to share the foundational teaching of applied positive psychology to the workplace during the ProSource Summit,” remarked Krismer, bestselling author of “Whole Person Happiness: How to be Well in Body, Mind and Spirit.” “Participants left the workshop with practical actions to increase energy and optimism in their businesses. Audience members love the fact that this goes far beyond wishful thinking as it is grounded in excellent science.”

Bridging the Lighting Technology Gap with Builders, Designers, Architects, and Electricians – Interactive Panel Moderated by David Warfel of Light Can Help You
“Many members stopped me in the hall or dropped by on the show floor just to share their appreciation for the lighting discussion,” said Warfel, Chief Evangelist of Light Can Help You. “The members on the panel had anywhere from one to 20 years of experience in lighting fixture sales, and they shared openly what the lighting business looks like at every level. Members gained insights into how to get started and how to build trade partner relationships, and were inspired by the long-term seven-figure success stories from their fellow members.”

Creating an Efficient Selling Machine – Selling Smarter Roundtable Session Moderated by Joel Hernandez, Vice President of Sales at First Priority Audio
“As an integrator myself, I truly enjoy spending time with peers and discussing ways to do things better as an industry. It was a joy to moderate a roundtable discussion on sales during Summit. The conversations during the roundtables were encouraging and hopeful. Looking forward to seeing some of the ideas put into use,” commented Hernandez.

Scaling for Your Next Million — People, Process, Product, Moderated by Dante Walston
“It was my pleasure to moderate and share some best practices during the Scaling for Your Next Million roundtable at the ProSource Summit. I treasured everyone’s time and contributions, and my wish is that everyone in attendance came away with useful and profitable ideas,” said Walston.

“Thanks to all who attended the 2022 ProSource Summit in Las Vegas,” remarked Andy Orozco, Vice President, Business Development at ProSource. “From the State of the Business, to honoring our Members of the Year, the excellent education presentations, and the crowded Expo floor, it was a great success! The commitment of ProSource members and vendors to turn out for Summit 2022 reflect the pent-up enthusiasm for building relationships that are an investment in the future success of the business.”
