Azione Unlimited Members Have “New Dreams In New Orleans”

Summit provided integrator and vendor thought leaders with educational meetings, networking opportunities, and entertaining activities

Contrary to the summit theme “New Dreams in New Orleans”, Azione Unlimited dealer and vendor members didn’t get much sleep during the three-day conference that took place March 28–30 as the buying group celebrated the achievements of the association’s thought-leaders, as well as 2021 as a monumental year for accelerated development, growth, and resiliency. Themed around “New Dreams,” the Azione Unlimited conference focused on what the future portends for the Azione custom integration-focused dealer and vendor community.

“We’re going to give you a place to share ideas, make your business stronger,” said Richard Glikes, President & Founder of Azione Unlimited, to the member dealers and vendors in attendance. “We all have strengths and weaknesses. Let’s shore up the weaknesses and share the strengths.”

Forward-thinking conversations on the impact of selling lighting, navigating supply chain issues, and where the industry is headed were the cornerstones of some of the intimate discussions, educational meetings, networking opportunities, and entertaining activities provided at the conference.

Presenting relevant short, impactful “TED style” talks, industry stalwarts TheCoTeam CEO Chris Smith, Josh.ai CEO Alex Capecelatro, One FireFly CEO Ron Callis, and LK & Associates director of sales & business development Jason Sayen delivered inspirational and noteworthy keynotes. Additionally, each of their small group meetings provided critical insights into developing KPIs, managing profit and loss sheets, assessing labor rates, empowering teams, and emerging tech.

Keynote speaker Stacey McKibbin sparked dealer interest by highlighting the benefits of elevating middle management, evaluating their profit formula, and executing both short- and long-term success. The Consilio CEO also led a handful of small group meetings on how to grow business, retain employees, and open communication for a more productive business.

Azione Unlimited had a record year in 2021 and continues to advance its success into 2022 with a partnership with Nationwide Marketing Group, the addition of four new high-profile vendors, as well as welcoming new board members.

The conference also introduced the Azione Accelerator Program, a four-pronged program that invited dealers to improve their businesses by utilizing the group’s services and advantages. TWICE will share more information in the near future about these four focuses of the program:

  • Connected Clusters Cubed
  • Marketing Made Easy
  • Influential Introductions
  • Electrifying Experiences

“We’re in really good shape,” Glikes told TWICE at the Summit. “I’m really happy with my board…they bring an energy–and there’s lots of input, lots of ideas. It’s already made a difference.”
