NEW YORK —
Barnes & Noble is
rolling out expanded kid-oriented
play areas in five stores that feature
its Nook e-reader.
While the majority of the 3,000
square-foot boutique is dedicated
to books and toys, there are “Nook
tables” where children can play with
the Nookcolor reader.
Each boutique features five interactive
play areas for building, learning,
imagining, creating and playing.
The Nook products will be located in
the learning area.
The five test stores are located
in Enfield and Manchester, Conn.;
North Brunswick and Holmdel, N.J.;
and the Bronx, N.Y.
