Samsung will launch a trio of new lightweight and ultra-slim Windows OS notebooks on Feb. 18, but is limiting distribution to Amazon, Best Buy and its own direct-sale site.
The new entries include:
- the Samsung Notebook 9 Pen, a 13-inch two-in-one that weighs in a 2.2 pounds but comes packed with an 8 Generation Intel Core i7 and embedded S Pen borrowed from Galaxy Note;
- the Samsung Notebook 9, available in 13- and 15-inch iterations with Intel Core i5 or i7 processors, sharing the same magnesium alloy build as the Pen version; and
- the Samsung Notebook 7 Spin, a 13-inch convertible designed for students and “everyday consumers.”
Suggested retails are $1,400 for the Notebook 9 Pen, available at Amazon and Samsung.com; a starting price of $1,200 for the Notebook 9, also available at Amazon and Samsung; and $900 for the Notebook 7 Spin, available in-store and online at Best Buy and at Samsung.com.
