Samsung released more details on its worldwide recall of the Galaxy Note7 phablet.
The company has offered consumers two choices under its U.S. Product Exchange Program. They can either exchange their current Note7 with a new Note7 that will be available “as early as next week.” Or they can exchange the current Note7 for a Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge. Choosing the latter will also provide “replacement of any Note7 specific accessories with a refund of the price difference between devices.”
All Product Exchange Program participants will also receive a $25 gift card or bill credit.
To participate, consumers should visit the retail location where they purchased the device or call (800)-SAMSUNG.
