Corona, Calif. – Aftermarket car electronics supplier Rosen Electronics added an HDMI port to a headrest entertainment system to display smartphone content on multiple in-vehicle monitors at a time.

The AV7950H headrest system can also be used with Google Chromecast, Roku Stick, and Amazon Fire TV Stick to stream content wirelessly via an Internet-connected mobile hot spot that could be embedded in a phone or in a vehicle.

The AV7950H features the tablet styling of its AV7900 predecessor and is available in three configurations: dual DVD, single DVD, and monitor only. The AV7950H is used in combination with a line of OEM-matching headrests available for more than 700 vehicle options.

An accessory kit will enable users of the current AV7900  to upgrade to add HDMI capability.
