Denver – Ricoh Imaging has launched the Ricoh Engagement Forum -- a channel for photo enthusiasts to discuss and exchange tips and ideas for Ricoh and Pentax related topics.
The forum, which went live earlier this month, features Ricoh Imaging news and announcements; Gear Talk concerning vintage Pentax and Ricoh products; questions and answers on purchasing a DSLR; educational photography conversations in a Photographer Lounge; photo sharing; and other activities.
Ricoh said the site was designed to reward active users for their participation by issuing higher ranks within the community for engaging more.
In addition, Ricoh will present photo contests each month on the forum site, and the first contest theme will be “Holiday Greetings.” The best photograph voted upon by Ricoh employees will win a Pentax K-S1 DSLR. The holiday contest runs through December 30.
“We are excited to provide our customers with the only definitive online source for all things Ricoh Imaging North America,” said Brian McIntosh, Ricoh marketing director. “The Ricoh Engagement Forum offers an avenue for them to voice their opinions on our products, as well as share ideas and tips with Pentax and Ricoh users like themselves. I’m very excited to see our new online community launch and eager to see what our customers will bring to the community.”
